The dramatized true story of the Z-boys, who grew up in Southern California in an area dubbed ‘Dogtown’ – allkeen surfers who revitalised the 70s skateboard trend by experimenting with wheels and new tricks. The group decide to form a skate team, win many contests and swiftly become local legends. As their whirlwind notoriety builds, egos clash and rivalries emerge. In this fascinating take on the worlds of surfing and skating, the cast display mind-blowing talent on their boards.
