One of the best children’s movies of recent years is introduced by the author of the book. Dick King-Smith will be present at this screening to introduce and talk about the film of his best-known book, about a small pig who decides he wants to be a sheepdog. It’s an almost flawless film, with every loving detail superbly integrated, from the chorus of mice to the wonderful ending. A whole generation has been born since the film was released and will enjoy it for the first time – others will be only too glad to watch it again. That’ll do, pig. PR
