Commotion: Repertoire

Commotion is an exciting new series of programmes put together by curators from the UK, Finland, Ireland and the Netherlands. The programmes are themed and explore different issues or creative genres. In Repertoire the films all draw upon the language of theatre, using scripts and/or choreographed movement, costumes, sets and props, mining the possibilities of theatricality from within the framework of the visual arts and straddling the conventions of numerous art forms to vindicate an interdisciplinary approach. Curator Helen Legg will be present to discuss the films and take questions from the audience following the screening.
