Friday 27th October, 6pm
With: Echo and her family of 26 elephants

2005 Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Martyn Colbeck has spent the last 15 years scouring Africa for the ultimate images of the world’s largest land creatures, African Elephants and has witnessed and recorded some incredible behaviour. They’ve become a second family to him and he’s developed a better understanding of them than many researchers, learning to read their minds and anticipating their every move.

In association with the Royal United Hospital we present a preview screening of Eye for an Elephant, which documents the lives of matriarch Echo and her troupe, and as one of the BBC Natural World’s new season of films is due to be aired later in November. From 6.00pm there will be a chance to view a new exhibition of Martyn Colbeck’s award-winning photographs.

At 7.45pm Martyn will introduce his film and after the screening will take questions from the audience.
