Junior Animation Lab (13 – 18 yrs)

Don’t be restricted by real life - let your imagination run wild at this year’s junior lab! You’ll work in small groups using all sorts of exciting techniques, from Flash to Stop Frame, to create your own short animated films. Over the 3 days you will go from script development to outputting your films for distribution via mobile phones and the Internet. You will be working with 2 experienced animators who will help you make all your wild ideas come to life. Once your film is 'in the can,' it will be featured at Make It Short, our short film event, taking place on the closing evening of this year's festival. Selected films will also be uploaded to this website, for the whole world to watch long after the festival is over! Book quickly - these workshops always sell out fast!
