War and Peace

War & Peace is a group programme of films. Curators, artists ,film makers and peace campaigners came together to explore issues of conflict. The Bath Film Festival screening is Part of the Stroud Valley Studios Tour which included Arnolfini and The Watershed. Challenged to respond to the changing world, eight artist film makers (Louise Burston, Sean Taylor, Fern Thomas, Angelo Picozzi, Tim Shore, Fiona Medley, Ronnie Close, Claire Flower) present work about soldiers and people from different cultural backgrounds caught up in conflict. The films included in this screening programme investigate the issues of conflict and reconciliation and give voice to a community of artists whose work reflect their interest in social activism. War and Peace project coordinator Fiona Kam Meadley and independent curator Zoe Shearman will be on hand to take questions.
